Los Angelenos are now able to check out stats on parking tickets thanks to the open data portal called Street Talk: Parking Tickets in LA. Residents using the portal are able to access information and suggestions for avoiding parking violations. According to that portal, the most frequently issued tickets in Los Angeles are given for street cleaning (26 percent), expired meters (23 percent), and expired car registration tabs (10 percent). While residents might feel the most picked on, it appears that delivery companies like UPS and FedEx receive the most tickets per year. Together, the companies received more than 45,000 tickets in one year alone.
