Matthew joined the Perlman Law Group full time in the spring of 2011 after spending most of the last year sharing time between several local criminal defense practices. Matthew, who lives with his family in the San Gabriel Valley, earned his Bachelor's Degree from Binghamton University in New York, and his law degree locally from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. He began his legal career in Intellectual Property Law, but changed his focus over time after gaining a valuable understanding of the criminal justice system and a desire to defend individual's rights under the law. Matthew uses this growing understanding to vigorously defend and protect every individual that he represents. Matthew tries to give back to the community by coaching youth sports on weekends.
